Liberals are full of platitudes & lip-service - "do what I say, NOT what I do"!! Member of Parliament for Edmonton Mill Woods, Tim Uppal, questions on the case of killing of Toronto's Mohamed-Aslam Zafis, if the government will take action against the rise of white supremacist groups that have grown under the Trudeau government.
Why would you NOT want committee investigating into corruption?
On Wed Oct 21, 2020, Canada's House of Commons voted on an Opposition Conservative motion to establish a special committee to investigate on corruption allegations, thereby freeing up standing committees such as Health, Finance and Ethics to focus on other more issues facing Canadians. Canada-HK extradition suspension will help HKers, really?!!
On Monday Nov 3, 2020 in Canada's House of Commons, Liberal Foreign Affairs Ministers was asked a fair question about the arrest of pro-democracy legislators in Hong Kong; what Canada is doing about it. Listen to the ridiculous illogical response (NOT an answer) the Minister has provided. Just to be sure, suspending extradition treaty with HK is a necessary step - to protect hundreds of thousands of Canadians (from HK & critical of HK SAR govt) from being unjustly prosecuted and persecuted using the recently passed HK National Security Law. This domestic protective measure however is NOT something that would help those being prosecuted and persecuted in Hong Kong. "At every step of the way we've been standing up with the value and principles with our allies around the world" says the Liberal Foreign Affairs minister unashamedly.
